We are offering several basic and advanced courses as well as Scratchpad 2 updater sessions for current maintainers to familiarise themselves with the upcoming new version!

- Interactive Fair for Biodiversity - 17 May 2010. The Convention for Biological Diversity is putting together an interactive fair alongside its Conference of Parties in Nagoya.
- EDIT Integration Research Grants call for proposals - 22 April 2010. A new round of funding for integrated research is open. The deadline for applying is the 17th of May.
- International E-Conference on the Post 2010 Biodiversity Target - 20 April 2010. A global e-conference has been started by the Convention on Biological Diversity. EDIT encourages its members to participate!
- Scratchpad training - 7 April 2010. A one-day training course on Scratchpad collaborative websites will take place in Brussels on 14 June. Click here to know more and register.
- New version of ALTER-Net News and Views - 31 March 2010. EDIT's sister network ALTER-Net has developed a new website to publicise stories about biodiversity.
- JOBS - ECBOL coordinator, Utrecht (Netherlands) - 23 March 2010. The European Consortium for the Barcode of Life, part of EDIT, is recruiting a coordinator.
- €3000 for young conservationists - 19 March 2010. Three Alfred Toepfer Natural Heritage Scholarships are available this year.
- 2010 ALTER-Net Summer School in Peyresq, France - 16 March 2010. EDIT's sister network ALTER-Net is orgasing its own ecology summer school in early September in France.
- EDIT Summer School 2010 in Madeira, Portugal - 5 March, 2010. The 2010 session of the EDIT Summer School will take place 17 July - 1 August in Madeira. We are looking for students and training providers!
